Head coverings for women .

Do you think Christian or Messianic women should wear head coverings ?

After reading the two articles (see links below), I have come to a conclusion and agree with those writers that women should wear head coverings all the time.

The pastor of the church where I attend , says it is not a command from God and he based it on verse14 ,1 Corinthians 11:2-16

V.14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

He said it is not compulsory for women to wear a head covering but they are at a liberty to wear one if they chose.

That is the official stand of that church. I do not agree but there is not much I can do about that decision of this church. All I can do is to pray to God to open his eyes .
